AA Women: Is there a braiding/sewing technique that better or worse for weaves?

I have found that sewing through the track makes the weave last longer. But it seems to me that my hair grows better when she sews around the track.

Also, horizonal braids vs. vertical braids vs. brading in a circle? Is there a science to any of it, or it is just preference?

*I know this is a "hair" question, but not as many people are lingering over there as over here :) So please forgive me*

Horizontal braids make everything hang nicer and is much easier to sew.

I'm not sure what you mean about through or around the track...I stitch around the whole braid to the scalp which I think minimizes hair breakage and holds the weave in longer.

Using the braid oil on the scalp helps growth and condition too...

When you said AA women I thought that meant Alcohol anonymous , but I do not have a answer for you.

I don't know because like a smart person I keep my REAL hair and don't put on some fake sh1t. I don't know why some of you black women don't just accept your hair. I'm black and have never worn weave in my life and i'm proud of it.
