i'm african/american i have a white mother so i don't really understtand my hair it's afro and curly i usally get braids but what else can i do with my hair.. i;ve been told of weaves but can some one explain how they do that and how much does that cost

just get a good shampoo for silky smooth hair and a good conditioner to keep the hair from frizzing.you might also consider getting a nice new cut or trim to get your hair is better shape.then if you want you can get either a good streightner or a good water based gell like garnier to keep the curls nice and in tact but not clumpt together or sticky. a good mousse might help too those are good for curly hair,just make sure to get one for curly hair not for volume or plain. oh and one more thing if you decide to streighten your hair then wash your hair with salt once a month,i know it sounds weird but it helps from split ends and breakage.
