my hair is naturally pretty straight.

but sometimes i like to braid it to make it wavy and such, and i have a feeling it would look better chocolate brown if it were wavy.

you have great hair now, but the color does NOT flatter you. and color would better actually. i think the chocolate brown would be amazing, but get it done professionally. it's worth the cost-your hair wont be uneven with the different colors reacting to hair dye differently

Get a soft brown, with honey/light brown highlights. I'm not a fan of the blonde and dark brown color you have now. I like it best when it's straight. Try something like this:
